About Cameron School of Business
Mission
The Cameron School of Business will serve students of diverse backgrounds, providing them the necessary professional skills for a changing global economy, and instilling in them a deep appreciation for ethical behavior as the hallmark of a successful and fulfilling business career. The Cameron School will provide its students a timely and comprehensive business curriculum, with opportunities for specialized study in major business fields. The faculty will provide quality teaching, as this is the core of our mission. As an extension of our teaching mission, the faculty will engage in scholarly activity and service to the University, the profession, and the community.
Degree Programs
The Cameron School of Business is home to about 300 undergraduate and about 560 graduate students. The school offers the following degree programs in business:
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with majors in Accounting, Finance, General Business and Marketing
- Master of Business Administration (MBA)
- Master of Science in Accounting
- Five year BBA/MBA
The degree programs of the Cameron School serve the community by preparing students for careers with employers in various industries and government as well as large and small firms, engaged in manufacturing and services.
The Center for Business Ethics
The Cameron school of Business is home to the Center for Business Ethics. Directed by Dr. Daryl Koehn, a scholar with an international reputation in the field of ethics, the Center offers leadership and corporate governance training programs, conferences on business ethics, public lectures and an online journal of ethics .
