Faculty Experts
 Catholicism. The inner workings of the Vatican. Civil War, Arthurian legends and political matters. A news reporter can rarely predict from one day to the next what his information needs will be, but the Office of Public Affairs maintains a roster of faculty members and their areas of expertise. We call it the Media Resource Guide. The 2007-2008 guide will be available in June and it will reside on this Web site. The University of St. Thomas faculty have expertise in hundreds of fields of study, and many are nationally and internationally recognized for their work These faculty members are willing to comment on issues and topics in the news. Seeing them on television news or in print improves the credibility of a story, and brings credit to the University.
We are creating this on-line experts guide to connect members of the media with UST’s faculty experts. Brief outlines of the experts' specific areas of expertise will be included in this searchable guide, as well as contact information (and home numbers, where authorized). We encourage members of the media to call the Public Affairs Office first so that we might expedite your request, but you are welcome to contact a faculty member directly.
